I finally found this sight again...took my daughter and I an hour to remember the name.....uuuggghh.  This time I will book mark it...

I can't believe I started this a year ago....a lot has happiened...to many sad things.

But I am better....happy and ready to move on.  Not much gets me down now a days....I will never sacrifice my happiness again.

Happiness...what is it exactly and where does it come from?

Webster defines happiness as being happy, gladness. Happy means to be feeling as you do when you are well and are having a good time, glad, pleased, content. Glad means to be happy;pleased.

You may wonder why I am asking this question.

Well...as I was taking down the Christmas tree...a thought came over me, Did this tree bring me any happiness this year?

No, not really.

It brought Josie and Jacob happiness when they put it up as they where trying to be nice to me. Well....at least I think Josie was trying to be nice. I kind of think that she was pushing the issue of Christmas upon me. Positive thinking, right? Back to the point.

I can not seem to find the meaning of happiness any more. With a messed up government, an era of debit, and a pace of life that is so fast that you often forget to breath.

I watch my children struggle to try and keep up with the other kids...not realizing that all that materialistic stuff will not bring them happiness. Of course I try to tell them this but it is hard to say anything when you yourself can not even explain happiness.

I know you are thinking that I should be on anti-depressants right now...No, I don't. My writing is my drug of choice...always has been. I know that in the end it will all work itself out. Let's just call this my mid-life crisis.

So my journey begins to find something that may be able to define it by either words or pictures.
